Lee Plumbing is working closely with the Kenosha Sewer & Water Development Authority to monitor today’s bidecadal sewer purge in Kenosha. This event last occurred in 1998 and although no injuries were reported 20 years ago there were some sticky situations reported throughout our community.

At approximately 6 a.m. this morning Ed St. Paul, director of the Sewer Authority, will instruct the employees at the lakefront sewer plant to “reverse the pumps”. Employees will throw a series of switches which will effectively reverse the sewage flow to Kenosha homes temporarily.
